Import Methods

Click Import - From your dashboard, click the import button
Upload your PDF - Select your resume file (up to 1MB)
AI extracts data - Our AI reads your resume and pulls out all the information
Add tags - Optionally add tags to organize your resume
Review and edit - Check the extracted data and make any corrections

Export from LinkedIn - Go to your LinkedIn profile and download your profile as PDF
Click LinkedIn Import - From your dashboard, select the LinkedIn import option
Upload LinkedIn PDF - Select your LinkedIn PDF export
AI extracts data - Our AI parses your LinkedIn profile data
Start editing - Your resume is auto-tagged with "linkedin" for easy identification

Use a clear PDF - Make sure your resume is readable. Scanned images might not work well.
Check the extraction - AI is smart but not perfect. Review everything and fix any mistakes.
Add missing info - If something didn't extract, you can add it manually.
Use tags - Add tags like "tech", "marketing", or job titles to stay organized.
Keep LinkedIn updated - The better your LinkedIn profile, the better the import will be.

"Import failed" - Try a different PDF or check file size (max 1MB)

"Data looks wrong" - Your PDF might have unusual formatting. Try re-exporting it.

"Missing information" - Some data might not have extracted. Add it manually.

"LinkedIn import not working" - Make sure you're using the official LinkedIn PDF export, not a screenshot or third-party export.

Resume import is an AI feature with usage limits depending on your plan. Check your account settings to see your usage and remaining quota.
